Long before Astound Auto Detail, Jersain was the person who noticed the details others missed. At 18, he was already building, maintaining, and obsessing over his own cars and trucks—because keeping them clean was never an afterthought.
Growing up, he would see Bill “The Buffman” around town with his unmistakable truck and trailer, detailing at a level that set the bar. Jersain looked up to that work and wanted his own vehicles to carry that same standard.
That early passion became a craft. Over more than 20 years, Jersain has continued to learn from the best in the industry, including Renny Doyle and the team at Griot’s Garage. Their training, standards, and commitment to doing things the right way helped refine the discipline behind every service Astound provides.
Today, Jersain is proud to have been mentored by Bill himself, while carrying forward the lessons of Renny Doyle, Griot’s Garage, and the P&S Double Black program. The result is a detailer who brings lifelong care, proven training, and a personal standard to every vehicle that comes through the shop.

2593 Robertson Drive, Richland WAAstound Auto Detail has a new dedicated shop at 2593 Robertson Drive in Richland, WA — a purpose-built space designed to handle the level of work Jersain has always delivered. White walls, epoxy floors, and a full P&S product setup from day one.
The new location means more space, better lighting, and the right environment to do paint correction, ceramic coatings, and engine bay work at the standard you expect from Astound.
